Throughout the build, we appreciated the regular site meetings, professional approach and open communication, not only when work was progressing smoothly but also (as is inevitable) when any issues arose.   Any challenges were dealt with promptly and efficiently, not only by Rob and Paul Hocking, but all other members of their team, particularly Daniel our site supervisor.

Hocking Constructions built our new architect designed home over 2 years, finishing in late November 2022.  It was a build from scratch after demolition of the former house, on a sandhill and over 2 levels.  There were engineering and architectural challenges, but Paul and the crew did an amazing job from start to finish.  We experienced no significant delays or difficulties, as the preparations had been thorough and the timetable efficient.

All of the contracted trades were outstanding, and unfailingly polite and tidy. The finished product is superb!  The build standard is magnificent, and we were very happy with the whole process.  Paul brought it in pretty much on schedule and on budget, and with no significant client stress, or neighbour complaints. Not an easy task.

It is no surprise that Hockings are such a highly awarded builder.  We would recommend them to anyone wanting a top-end company to produce a beautiful, durable, craftsman-created property without the stresses which so often accompany this process.

So we came up with a house design beautiful in its simplicity, but oh so complicated in its build, as only Troppo can do, and set Hocking Constructions to work to build it.
